HEALTHCARE:

Fairview Regional Medical Center is a municipally owned, locally operated critical access hospital, focusing on family-centered healthcare since 1959.  FRMC offers a family clinic, 24-hour emergency services, hospital, lab, radiology and superb rehabilitation services and specialty clinic.

Fairview Fellowship Home and Retirement Village has a resident-first philosophy and offers skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, independent living and a secure memory-care unit.  Celebrating well over 50 years, Fairview Fellowship Home continues to expand with a 14-bed assisted living facility in a family-style building as well as independent living duplexes.

Optometrists, dentists, physical therapists, chiropractors, EMS, and home health are also available in Fairview.

EDUCATION:

Fairview is empowering youth through excellence in education.  Fairview Public Schools is well equipped with aggressive, forward-thinking instructors providing an excellent education that is second to none.  The one on one interaction yields students with higher level thinking skills and exceptionally high test scores.

Northwest Technology Center has been serving students and industries in Fairview and Major County for over 30 years.  The Core Values of this Gold Star Award School are industry-focused, student-centered, and performance-driven.  NWTC provides extensive educational opportunities while focusing on meeting student needs and enhancing economic development.  Implementing a Practical Nursing Program and a Biomedical Sciences (STEM) Program demonstrates the school's commitment to improving rural healthcare and preparing youth for high-tech jobs and diversifying the economy through the infusion of technology, science and mathematics.  Customized business and industry training is provided to local industries at little to no cost.
