B. 70' X 160' X 18' metal building - see below for specifications and gauges C. Concrete slab 70' X 160' X 6" 3500 psi 3/8" rebar 24" square spacing including hook or ties bars, if any - expansion joint at center. Monolithic with grade beam. Concrete strength test are to be preformed and the results provided to the owner. D. Grade Beam 12" X 24" (6" above 18" below) 4- 1/2" rebar. Rated for 5 ton overhead crane. E. Roof and siding panels to be 26 gauge colored sheets with minimum of 20-year warranty for factory-applied exterior finish. F. Insulation - VRP-3 or equivalent blanket-type building insulation to meet all fire codes. METAL BUILDING SPECIFICATIONS
Metal building standard construction deranged for 20 psf Live Load and 80 mph Wind Load in accordance with AISC and AISI Design Specifications as currently amended. Color to be determined prior to awarding contract.
STEEL FRAME: Shop fabricated, shop welded, field bolted and painted one shop coat and to consist of interior rigid frames, 20' on centers, column and beam end rafters, and secondary framing (8" purlins). Doors, framed openings and ventilators are field located by erctor. Frame should be engineered to support a hoist bearing up to 10,000 pounds at each leg.
ANCHOR BOLTS: Furnished by builder to anchor building to the concrete foundation.
ROOF PANELS: 26 gauge Galvalume metal panel, 3' 3" wide, with 1 1/4" deep primary ribs on 12" centers and 1/4" deep intermediate ribs midway between primary ribs, secured to the steel frame with self-tapping fasteners on 12" centers. Metal panel shall extend from ridge to eave in one piece without end lap. Rib closures shall be provided at all gables and between roof panels and eave struts.
EXTERNAL WALL PANELS: 26 gauge colored metal panels shall be side lapped one rib and secured to the steel frame with self-tapping fasteners on 12" centers.
TRIM AND FLASHING: Metal colored gable rake trim die formed ridge cap, corner trim and flashing at openings for building accessories.
GUTTERS: Metal standard 4 1/2" X 6" sculptured gutters for all eaves, including square colored downspouts with 45 degree elbows at the floor line.
STEEL WALK THROUGH DOORS: 3 - 36" X 84" X 1 3/4" thick steel walk through doors. Doors will be solid, without windows, insulated with heavy-duty locksets and keyed alike. Color of doors to be the customers choice.
STEEL OVERHEAD DOORS: 2 - 18' X 14' X 3" sectional, ribbed, 24 gauge, zinc coated steel overhead door, insulated metal inside covered, with torsion spring counter-balance, galvanized track, cylinder lock, rubber bottom astragal and painted one factory coat white. Doors to have electric openers and 2 - 5" X 24" windows in one section of each door.
