Highways:
Fairview , the Major County seat, connects two State highways and two
Federal highways less then one hour away from Interstate highways in the heart
of the country. State Highway
58 provides access to Interstate 40, and US 60 provides access within six
minutes to US 412, which connects to Interstate 35.
Air:
Major County’s
airport
is classified as a Basic Utility II. It consists of a 3620’ asphalt runway, 60’
wide, with radio controlled MIRL lighting and GPS approach.
