When pioneer A.J. Bower looked across the beautiful valley between the
Cimarron River and the
Gloss Mountains he was inspired to call
his new home
Fairview.
Today, Fairview is a great place to visit and a great place to
live. Fairview is the county seat for Major County. Major County also
includes several other active communities.
Cleo Springs, is the closest town to
the historic

which has a community fair the end of each August, and
Ames which celebrates Ames Day with family
games, and a fireworks display.
Meno
and
Isabella, regularly host activities
to support community projects.
Chester
celebrates the Fourth of July with a fun day at the park.
Rural America is alive and well and invites you to join in the fun in Major
County. |
